A LONG LIST OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I have served on the University of Board of Regents since 2015. The following is a partial list of measures the university has adopted, all of which I have supported:

A minimum wage of at least $15/hr for all employees, including students.
ACcOUNTABILITY
Amended and strengthened U of M Bylaws and Standard Practice Guide policies addressing sexual and gender-based misconduct.
Consulted and hired Guidepost Global in order to learn how to move the campus forward regarding survivors of sexual misconduct and improve U of M’s campus climate.
Established a Statement of Values and Ethics as well as anti-retaliation policies.
Established transparency and accountability for Anderson abuse; worked to create an environment of mutual respect and accountability, free of retaliation.
MICHIGAN’S FUTURE
Dedicated to protecting U of M’s $2 billion/year research and development powerhouse, which supports hundreds of thousands of jobs across our state.
Endowment becoming carbon net zero by 2050; first American university to achieve net zero, discontinuing direct investment in big polluters, ending investment in funds focused on oil reserves/extraction.
Expanding presence in Detroit with the Detroit Center for Innovation.
Increase investment in Flint, Dearborn, and Detroit Campuses.

The University of Michigan has and will continue to provide a full spectrum of women’s healthcare, through its award winning Medical School and health system.
